Browse Babysitting Requests:
- Whenever you get a request from a parent you will receive an email and we may whatsapp you as well.listings posted by parents.
Express your Interest:
- Remember, responding fast improves your chances of getting booked.
Connect with Family:

Once a parent selects you from those who expressed interest, our chat feature allows you to finalise details, ask any further questions, and confirm scheduling or other specifics.

Check your emails regularly for any changes, especially leading up to your booking.
Confirm the Booking:
- When both you and the family agree, the booking is confirmed, locking in the date and time.
- Review any special requirements, contact details, and finalise preparations as needed for the babysitting appointment.
Handling Cancellations:
- If you need to cancel, do so as early as possible and notify us either by email sitters@thevillageco.nz or phone on 07 807 9114.
- Although we also ask that you keep cancellations to a minimum (if possible) to avoid affecting your chances of future bookings.
